MLS side Montreal Impact have announced the signing of ex Nasarawa United forward Sunusi Ibrahim who has been on trial at English Championship side Watford the past three months.
They announced that he has joined them on a three years deal with the option of another year from Nigeria non league side 36 Lions of Lagos.

The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that it has acquired forward Sunusi Ibrahim, a transfer from 36 Lion FC. Ibrahim has signed a contract for the next three seasons, with an option year for 2024, which will be confirmed following receipt of his international transfer certificate and medical examination.

In 2019, with Nasarawa United, the 18-year-old Nigerian striker was the top scorer in the first division of the Nigeria professional league, scoring 10 goals in 22 games.
With Nigeria’s National Under-23 squad, he played three qualifiers for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations, scoring against Zambia.
