President of Italian Serie A side Napoli has told Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen To dump his image right deal with Nike as part of the conditions for his transfer.
Already a deal has been agreed with Lille for his transfer but the move is stalling with the player insisting on maintaining his current deal with Nike which runs into thousands of euros.
The president of Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis insist that all image rights of players at the club belong the club but he is willing to pay some bonus to the forward for make up for the cancellation of his personal agreement with Nike.
So far the sum he is offering is just ten percent of what the player is earning via his deal with Nike and that has led to the delay in officially announcing the deal.
Although the camp of Osimhen have shifted ground a bit. Both camps are still some way off in terms of agreement but there is some kind of feeling that all will be wrapped up later today.
Contrary to reports no medical has taken place yet but if all goes as planned it could happen tomorrow alongside his photo shoot ahead of his official unveiling at Napoli where he wear the number 9 shirt.
