Nasarawa Amazons target league playoff spot

Nasarawa Amazons assistant coach, Michael Olaoye, has revealed that the target of the team is to qualify for the Super Six playoffs.

Olaoye said the team is highly motivated to achieve their goal.

Nasarawa Amazons are top of Group A in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.

“Our target is to reach the NWFL championship playoffs before we can look at qualifying for the CAF women’s Champions League,” he told the club’s media.

“Nasarawa Amazons are highly motivated by the state government and the chairperson. We are fired up to achieve that goal at the end of the season.”

Nasarawa Amazons will battle Heartland Queens next in the league.
