Nasarawa United head coach, Usman Adams, says his team is still a work in progress ahead of the start of the 2023-24 Nigeria National League season.

The Solid Miners have been scheduled for the league opener against Zamfara United, next week Saturday at the Lafia City Stadium.

The newly appointed tactician assured that the team would be ready before the kickoff day.

“We are still a work in progress. If you watched very well, we are experimenting in different departments, especially on taking chances and closing the gaps when we are the defending side,” he told the club’s media

“We will still go back and look at other areas we need to fine-tune before the league kick-starts.”

“We hate to lose, even though it’s part of the game, but it’s my endless expectation that we begin the season on a winning note and sustain the tempo, going forward in the league.”

Nasarawa United are in Group C of the Northern Conference.
