Former Nigeria U17 invitee Prince Adegoke has signed his first professional contract with English Premier League side Chelsea after impressing for the U16 side.

Adegoke extended his deal with Chelsea U16 in July where he distinguished himself as number one and was even called up to the Nigeria U17 team ahead of the 2019 U17 World Cup.

He was however unable to honour the call up as it clashed with his academics and also his rise through the ranks at Chelsea where he is highly rated as one of the best goalkeepers in their youth set up.

The 17 year old took to social media to confirm his first professional deal which also earn him promotion to the U23s although he is expected to still remain with the U18 for the main time.

In the summer he will be hoping he gets a spot among the youth players who will be in the team for pre season training ahead of the start of next season under coach Thomas Tuchel.
