Nigerian content creator, Nons Miraj, has retracted her comments about London being uninteresting after returning to Nigeria a few days ago.
Recall that the skit maker in a viral video warned Nigerians seeking to travel to the United Kingdom that the country is boring. She noted she would not be visiting the UK again because it’s too peaceful there and she missed the hustle and bustle of Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos.
Well, barely two days after returning to Nigeria, Nons Miraj apologized for her initial comment about the United Kingdom, after she experienced harsh heat, coupled with power outages and fuel scarcity.
“I’m sorry, I was where there was cold, I said I wanted heat. This is like to-five and I’m sweating profusely; what happened? I want to go back to London. Nigeria is not for me! When I was there, I didn’t knew; nobody told me that Nigeria is hot like this. I opened my mouth and was talking jaga-jaga-jaga. It was like when I was there, I forgot how Nigeria was,” she said in part.
