Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has warned his teammates that Guinea-Bissau are a difficult opponent ahead of both sides’ 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixture on Friday.

Super Eagles will on Friday evening host Guinea-Bissau in an AFCON qualifier at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Jose Peseiro’s side will face the Djurtus in the reverse fixture three later at the Estádio 24 de Setembro.

Nigeria are in Group A against Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

Speaking to the press on Thursday in Abuja , Musa said, “We all know the importance of the game and we are not taking things easy. We played Guinea-Bissau at the AFCON, and it was tough against them.

“They are a difficult opponent. We are playing at home, in front of our fans, we are going for victory so that we can have one more step to the AFCON.”
