Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci attempts to break Guinness World Record with 4-day Cookathon (video)

A Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, is on a mission to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

To achieve this feat, Hilda, who hails from Akwa Ibom, plans to cook various local and international delicacies from May 11 to 14, 2023, at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.

The 27-year-old chef and content creator, who began the challenge on Thursday, is expected to cook non-stop till Sunday.

If successful, she will beat the current holder of the title, Lata Tondon, who cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds in Rewa, India in 2019.

Hilda is currently live on Instagram and has cooked for 18 hours so far. Many Nigerians are earnestly watching and rooting for her to achieve this challenging feat.
