Nigerian engineer builds advanced drone to help fight criminals in forest

A Nigerian robotics engineer identified as Olusola Ayoola, has built a carbon emission tracker drone that can smoke out criminals in any forest.

This is amidst the recent surge in kidnappings and banditry across the nation.

The University of Ibadan graduate who founded Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) told Tribune Online that there is a future for the country in robotics and artificial intelligence.

Olusola, an MSc and PhD holder from Manchester, intends to set up a training centre in Ibadan where the youths will be equipped with knowledge in this fast growing field.
