NPFL: Enyimba win at home, Rangers outclass Heartland

Rangers defeated Heartland 2-0 in the Oriental derby at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday night.

The Flying Antelopes reclaimed the top spot on the Nigeria Premier Football League table following the win.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side top the standings with 13 points from seven games.

Kazeem Ogunleye and Kenneth Ogboke were the goal scorers for Rangers.

At the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, Shooting Stars thrashed Niger Tornadoes 4-1.

Ayobami Adekunle gave the home team the lead in the 17th minute, while Chidiebere Ernest equalised for Heartland 10 minutes before the break.

Samuel Bamidele, Gbologade Adelowo, and Kareem Ayinde scored the other goals for Shooting Stars.
