Rangers forward, Godwin Obaje is confident of increasing his goal tally when the Nigeria Premier League resumes from the mid-season break.

The former NPFL goal king opened his account for the season in the Flying Antelopes’ 1-1 draw against Bayelsa United in Yenegoa on Sunday.

Obaje said he is counting on the support of the entire team to help replicate his goal-scoring feat in the league.

“We played against a very determined side as we hope of snatching the maximum points against Bayelsa United,” Obaje told thedabigal.

“I hope to score more goals this season. I am counting on my teammates to help me achieve this objective.

The rangers are now unbeaten in their last four games.

Abdu Maikaba’s side will take on Rivers United in rescheduled matchday eight game on March 19 in Port Harcourt.
