Wikki Tourists head coach Abdullahi Adamu is looking forward to a successful outing in the second half of the season.

The Bauchi Elephants will host Sunshine Stars in their first match of the second stanza on Sunday.

Abdullahi admitted that his team didn’t do well during the first stanza of the season.

“We started the league on a bad note but were able to finish the first round favourably and we still hope to start the second stanza on a good note,” Abdullahi told the club’s media.

“We are ready, the boys are ready, we only pray for good luck.”

Wikki Tourists have also beefed up their squad with five new players.

The new signings are; Yusuf Mohammed and Yinka David, who joined from Elkanemi Warriors and Nasarawa United, respectively.

The others are; Ugo Gabriel, a central defender, and Zulkifilu Muhammed, an attacker, both from Nasarawa United, while Yusuf Mohammed, a midfielder, is from Niger Tornadoes.
