Kwara United defender Chris Nwaeze and fellow defender Ifeanyi Anaemena from Rivers United have been dropped from the squad of the Nigerian team ahead of the friendly game against Mexico.
Anaemena was dropped after yesterday’s morning session while Nwaeze was told of his faith same day but in the evening as the coaches continue to prune down the number of players in camp.
Also Ekundayo Ojo who arrived the camp of the team this morning alongside his Enyimba teammates the duo of Anayo Iwuala and John Noble have been dropped as well.
Ojo was dropped without even kicking a ball with the coaches unsatisfied with his fitness level which has seen him miss the last one month of action in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
