The Pride of Rivers forward was appointed as the new captain of the side following Festus’ retirement from active football.

Nwagua said the attribute of being practical and realistic in decision-making made Festus appreciated by all.

“Our legend Austin Festus, is someone that is open, straight, practical and realistic in his decisions,” Nwagua said in a chat with the club’s media.

“This attribute of his is one area that I will grab well in everything I’m doing.
