
Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo says Almeria striker Sadiq Umar has what it takes to be one of the best in the world in his position base on how he has performed this season in Spain.
Sadiq has 12 goals in the Spanish second division, the last of which game in their last league game which was decided by a late goal by Omeruo but he has seen enough of his fellow Nigerian.
Both players are currently having a storming season for their respective teams as they push for promotion to the La Liga. They could be reunited in the Nigeria senior national team anytime soon.
Omeruo said the lanky forward who is on the radar of the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr knows where the back of the net is and he proved it by converting the only chance that came his way during the game .
“What I have to say about Sadiq is that he is a top player , he is a good striker, he knows where the post is. He take his chances. The game against us he had one chance and he took it”, he told OwngoaInigeria.com.
“I think he is a top striker, best player of the league last month it goes to tell you how good he is. Very difficult to mark. He has an amazing future.
