Ondo guber: Outcome of Buhari’s meeting with Gov. Akeredolu revealed

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has expressed readiness to participate in any form of primaries adopted by the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Akeredolu said this after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Rock on Tuesday.

According to him, “he is ready for any form of primary election the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be adopting.”

Speaking to State House Correspondents, the governor said he was sure that God would give him victory.

He added that he visited the President to present his Expression of Interest forms.

Meanwhile, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki announced his resignation from the party shortly after a meeting with Buhari on Tuesday.

Obaseki is set to announce his new party this week after his disqualification from the APC party primaries.

He was disqualified allegedly over a defective certificate.
