Onwubiko Sports Academy to host national teams

The Proprietor of Onwubiko International Sports Academy (OISA) Hon Innocent Onwubiko said he built an ultra modern sports center at Ngor-Okpala to promote excellence in his home town and   attract national teams to the facility.

The United States based businessman who stated this at the ongoing Nigeria Nationwide League currently being held at the center said already tourism in the community is being revived as hotels and food vendors in the area are beginning to appreciate the importance of the facility in the area following the influx of one thousand visitors from different parts of the country has visited the town for the NLO games.

He said after completion the facility will have three natural soccer pitches, massive spectator stands, three four-storey building hotels, one indoor soccer pitch made up of artificial field, Olympic size swimming pool, multipurpose sports centre for Volleyball, Basketball, Gymnasium and Tennis.

Hon. Onwubiko said after completion the facility will be able to host national team matches and all sporting events.
