Panache Foundation to help alleviate poverty.

A non-governmental organisation, Panache foundation, has been set up to help the less privileged in Nigeria.
Speaking with journalists recently, the Chairman of the NGO, Ekere David, said that Panache Foundation was focused on alleviating poverty and hunger by empowering the less privileged in the society through educational scholarship and skill acquisitions.
The chairman said he thought of establishing the foundation on his birthday two years ago. He stated, “I believe that you don’t have to possess the world before you can start to think about your neighbour. This idea drives me to think of catering for people who are vulnerable to hunger and poverty.”
While the foundation has done certain things in the past in a little capacity, its first major project will be held on December 22. They will be holding a Christmas party for the children living in Makoko, a riverine area in Lagos.
