Nigerians have come to the aid of a man living with a disability few weeks after he publicly joined the Peter Obi support train.
He had declared support for the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) during the 1 million march held nationwide in May 2022.
At the time, Obi, a former Governor of Anambra state, was still an aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
A photo of the man went viral when he held the campaign banner while lying flat on the floor. Well-meaning Nigerians rallied round and promised to buy him a wheelchair.
He has finally received an automatic wheelchair and a photo of him using it to enable his mobility is circulating online.
