Police declare teenager missing in Umuahia

Abia State Police Command has declared one Rejoice Ezeocha, a 13-year-old- old girl, missing.

The missing girl, according to the Abia Police Command’s press release, is a native of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, Umuahia North, but a resident of Lodu Ndume, Ibeku, also in Umuahia North LGA of the State.

The statement signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, said that Rejoice left their house on the 18th of July, 2023, to an unknown destination.

She added that efforts made by her relatives to trace her whereabouts proved abortive.

According to her, Rejoice, who is 13 years old, is dark in complexion with no tribal marks, and could speak English language fluently.

The statement appealed to anyone with useful information that could lead to the whereabouts of Rejoice to contact Prince Ezeocha of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, any nearest Police station or Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, State Police Command Umuahia.
