A popular Kenyan music artiste, Philip Ptaroba Okoyo, better known by stage name, Japesa, took quite a number of his fans by surprise after he purchased a coffin in anticipation of his funeral.

The quite extravagant music artiste took to his Instagram page on Saturday, March 27, to share a photo of himself posing with the casket and revealed that he didn’t want his fans to “struggle with funeral expenses”.

“Bought myself a coffin, just in case nikufe msisumbuliwe na till number,” he wrote.

His followers took to the comment section to react to the post with a number of them saying that he should mind his utterances as words are powerful while others noted that the coffin is cheap.
