Ramadan: Yobe govt adjusts working hours for public servants

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the adjustment of official working hours in the public service for the Holy month of Ramadan.

The approval was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Alhassan Sule Mamudo and made available to newsmen.

According to the statement, public servants are now to report to their duty posts from 8:00 am – 3:00pm, Mondays to Thursdays, while on Fridays the official hours are from 8:00 am to 12:00pm.

“This adjustment covers the month of Ramadan (Fasting) only and normal working hours commence immediately after the month of Ramadan”, the state explained.
