The age of a matured looking goalkeeper of a local football club in Jos has stirred reactions online.
The football club, Mighty Jets International Jos took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to unveil their new Jersey’s ahead of the start of the Nigerian National League season.
Unveiling the sport kits the club also shared the profile of her players who were used as models, when the eagle eye of netizens spotted the goalkeeper’s age.
In the post the goalkeeper, identified as Gobum Rotduwe’s profile revealed he was born in 1995, meaning he’s 25 at the moment but netizens have trolled the football club, while many claimed Rotduwe looks older than his age.
The club wrote;

In reaction many Nigerians took a swipe at the club, and emphasized that Rotduwe is much older than the portrayed age.
@Irunnia_ wrote, “Is this not Okawaraji? This guy fought in the Biafran war with my grandfather. Since when did he start playing football?
I don’t understand. Is that 1995 his year of birth or the day he decided to start playing football?”
