Michael Olise of English Championship side Reading has turned down the chance to commit his international future in the immediate to the senior national team of Nigeria, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr asked one of his assistants to sound out the 19 year old about committing to Nigeria but he decline and asked for more time.

We gathered that the France youth international who has four goals and eight assists this season isn’t in any hurry to commit his senior international football to Nigeria at the moment.

Eligible for England aside Nigeria and France, his form has led to talks about a call up to the English U21 side as well making it more difficult for him to commit to Nigeria immediately.

He is expected to continue with the U21 of France during the next international break and when he is committed to the switch to Nigeria he will contact the coach of the Nigerian team.
