Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has asked the Nigerian police to release his colleague, Baba Ijesha, on bail following rape allegations.
Baba Ijesha was arrested by the police for defiling the foster daughter of comedienne Princess Damilola.
Also, the CCTV footage of Baba Ijesha molesting the14th year old girl was released last week by Punch, after it was alleged that the police was planning on releasing him.
Fabiyi on his social media, says it is against the law to hold Baba Ijesha in police custody without trial. He added that it is illegal to deny him bail.
