Reports: Ex Nigeria U20 Coach Appointed As Coach Of Ghanaian Side Hearts Of Oak

The former coach of the Nigeria U20 team Paul Aigbogun has been appointed as the coach of top division Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak according to several reports in Ghana.

Aigbogun who last coaching job was with Danish side Jammerbugt, had a stint as the technical consultant of newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Sporting Lagos.  He holds a UEFA A coaching license.

He is presently a member of the technical department of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) , the London born coach has also worked as coach of NPFL sides Enyimba and Warri Wolves. He had two different stints at Enyimba.

Aside handling teams in Nigeria, he worked in South Africa where he handled Cape Town Spurs and also had a stint in the USA, where he worked in the USL. In England he had a six months spell with non League side Chester.

The well travelled coach was a member of the interim coaching set up of the senior national team of Nigeria that went to the last Africa Cup of Nations. They were also in charge when Nigeria lost out to Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers play off on away goal rule.
