Nigeria will be able to call on the services of Ademola Lookman and Ovie Ejaria when international games resumes next year, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Lookman has impressed at Fulham where he is on loan from German side RB Leipzig and with the winger already in the process of completing his switch of allegiance to Nigeria he is in line for a call up to the Nigerian team.
Already the switch which has taken around a year is now one signature away from completion with which will likely be done in December ahead of the start of international football in March.
The same situation has kept Ejaria out of the team but his case which was complicated by passport issues is also near completion and could be done same time with that of Lookman.
“ It’s almost done. Last time we checked just one signature left to sign it off. So unless they are not called up by the coach they should play next year for the Super Eagles. I can tell you both players are excited”, a member of the management team of one of the players told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“ Coach Gernot Rohr believe they will add more options to the attack of the team and the NFF have been very supportive. We hope it ends soon for the good of all even Lookman is eager same as Ejaria”.
