Santa Clara’s left back Zaidu Sanusi has emerged as a transfer target for newly-promoted Bundesliga side, Arminia Belefeld as the team fortifies it squad for the 2020/2021 season.
Zaidu, who is being monitored by Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has been one of the revelations of the Portuguese Primera Liga after series of fantastic performances for his side.
The 23 year old defender has played 18 games for his side this season with average of 79 minutes per game. He has one goal and an assist to his name.
Bielefeld have made him a top transfer target after extensive scouting of the pacy full back who is in line for a call up to the senior national team of Nigeria. He only recently signed for top Portuguese agent Jorge Mendez.
His rise has been exceptional considering he was playing in the third division Of Portuguese football for Mirandela around this time last year.
