Coach of promotion chasing Spanish side Almeria has predicted that Nigerian striker Sadiq Umar will score 16 goals this season as he has finally settled down in the team.
Sadiq was signed from Serbian side Partizan Belgrade in the summer where he ended last season with 17 goals and 17 assists. In Serbia this season he scored six goals in ten league games before moving to Almeria.
With three goals to his name, coach Jose Gomes the coach of Almeria says he will score 16 goals like the striker he replaced in the team Darwin Nunez as he started to be a huge threat in games.
“ I saw him stronger against Oviedo. Forceful in duels, very confident and daring. I need you to mark what I will say today that he will help us with 16 goals this season”, the coach said.
The 23 year old however failed to add to his goal tally yesterday as they slump to a 0-1 loss at home to Mallorca and missed out on a chance to move up to third position on the table.
