Bukayo Saka will not be part of England’s double-header against Australia and Italy.

The Arsenal winger was sent back from camp after being assessed by medical staff at St George’s Park.

Saka reported for international duty despite missing the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.

But after being evaluated by the England medical staff, the 22-year-old was released back to the Premier League club to continue his rehabilitation.

Saka has been injured since he limped out of Arsenal’s 2-1 Champions League defeat in Lens last Tuesday.

His absence against City ended a run of 87 consecutive Premier League appearances for the winger.
