The highly respected BBC African Footballer Year Award for 2018 don show, unfortunately there is no Nigerian on the list and we are very angry about it .
Instead, a five-man short-list has been announced which includes:
Mohammed Salah (Egypt), Sadio Mane (Senegal), Medhi Benatia (Morocco), Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal), Thomas Partey (Ghana)
The winner will be announced on Friday, 14 December at 17:30 on BBC.
