Ace music producer, Samklef says he founded the popular music genre, Afrobeats.
The sound engineer gave himself the glory in his recent social media post on Thursday, February 13, 2020, after Burna Boy claimed he’s the best Nigerian music artiste and that no one paved way for him to get to his current global height.
Samklef, while speaking, said Nigerians should put some respects on his name for his contribution, especially for creating the pattern and tempo that the new musicians and producers are following.
“If you all talking about Afrobeats (new school) foundation, you need to put some respect on Samklef name”, he shared on Instagram.
Writing further, Samklef said, “Respect the producers who created the pattern and tempo that u all are now replicating… respect Samklef… cause I no dey leak ass no mean say I no know my value.”
