Cyriel Dessers’ first-half goal was the difference as Rangers defeated Motherwell 2-0 at the Ibrox.

Dessers was on target in the 24th minute.

The forward has now scored two goals in five league appearances for the Light Blues this season.

The 28-year-old was replaced by Ryan Jack in the 67th minute.

His compatriot, Leon Balogun, failed to make the matchday squad.

Next up for Rangers is Wednesday evening’s Viaplay Cup quarterfinal against Livingston.
