Seven persons have sustained varying degrees of injuries in a multiple road traffic accident which occurred along the Ondo/Ife road on Wednesday.
According to information made available by the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the road crash occurred at Idi-Obi area of the highway.
Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi, the spokesperson of Osun FRSC, explained that the accident was caused when a white IVECO truck with registration number AYB415XS collided with a white Nissan Vanette bus, with registration number BDS544XA, which was conveying passengers to Ondo town.
Ogungbemi explained that fourteen passengers were involved in the accident, out of which five were male adults, while nine were female adults.
Victims of the crash, she revealed, were taken to a private hospital in Ifetedo for medical attention.
