Coach of Russian side CSKA Moscow has warned Nigerian striker Chidera Ejuke about his chances of getting regular run of games if he doesn’t improve on his output.
Viktor Gancharenko was instrumental in the signing of the 23 year old forward last summer from Dutch side Heerenveen but so far he hasn’t showed why the club splash as high as €12 million to sign him.
He has just two goals and one assists in 19 games in all competitions. A poor return when one considers his undoubted potential hence ahead of the start of the new season, the coach has sounded out a stern warning to the forward.
“ We had players like Ejuke who came in the summer without training with the group in pre season. So we didn’t get what we expect but now we have the winter camp to get them use to our style. It could mean little or no excuse not to deliver”, he said.
