Former Super Eagles player, Bright Omokaro, alias 10/10 has urged players in the senior national team.

According to him, it would help them to perform well and maintain their positions in the team.

Omokaro speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the level of competition these days is not as strong as what was obtainable in the past where players are ready to give their all to seal spots in the national team of Nigeria.

“At that time it was a tug of war when John Chidozie will come, Fashanu will come they find it difficult to pick a shirt. It was only late Okwaraji who came in that was very strong from Germany then that was able to fit into the team.

There should be a competition, so they should put in everything to make sure they write their name in Gold. Today you’re interviewing me, I have left Football over some years but because of the impact I had then that’s why you’re calling me, they should learn from us.”
