Naira Marley who is currently observing Ramadan tweeted on Tuesday: “I am a Muslim but ISIS does not represent me or my religion.”

The singer once influenced a cult-like movement called “Marlians.” His followers at that time were known for their wayward dressings and crazy lifestyles.

However, there was no report of violence by his cult-like fanbase.

The movement began to decline after Naira Marley’s fame and influence dwindled.

Marley now uses his social media pages to preach about religion and morality.
