Singer Tiwa Savage commemorates her late father’s posthumous birthday

Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage fondly referred to as the Queen of Afrobeat has taken to her Instagram page to mark her late father’s posthumous birthday.

Sharing via her Instagram story, she wished her daddy a happy birthday and prayed that he continued to rest in peace.

The mother of one had announced the passing of her father on July 19, 2021, claiming that he had a peaceful transition despite his strenuous past.

On that day she wrote;

“Early hours of this morning, you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought Daddy. It’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King. I love you daddy.”

To commemorate her late father on his posthumous birthday, she shared a picture of him and her and attached a caption that read;

“Happy birthday daddy. Continue to rest in perfect peace❤️????️”

The singer who also turned a new age on February 5 expressed her gratitude to everyone who celebrated her on her birthday.

She wrote: “Thank you for all the love and messages. I’m trying to respond to all. Yesterday you all made me feel truly special ❤️”
