Popular Afropop singer, Yemi Alade has lambasted a Twitter user who seemingly shamed her for not having a child yet.
The 33-year-old singer had taken to the microblogging platform to share a post, when the tweep advised her to get pregnant and give birth to a child.

Abeg”, the tweep wrote.
Reacting, she slammed the follower for giving an unsolicited advice to her, calling him a ‘nitwit’.
“It’s a New year! Find something new to say you nitwit”, Yemi responded.
The self-styled Mama Africa also blasted another Twitter user who berated her style of music, and told her to release better songs in 2023.
The Twitter user wrote, “Please give us good music this year abeg…. Not all those your regular pangolo ????????????????????????”
In response, Yemi Alade wrote, “I have nothing for you ,you wouldn’t know a good thing even if it slapped you in the face.”

A while back, Yemi Alade cried out on social media after her belongings were ransacked and her money stolen from a hotel room in Abidjan.
Alade shared an unpleasant experience in an Instagram post, saying that while she was out of her hotel room, an unidentified individual broke in and stole all of her money.
“A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal: all the money they could find ???????????????? Very good”, She wrote.
