The interim coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Austine Eguavoen has picked the final 28 players who will represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations which begins in January in Cameroon.
Eguavoen who will be in charge of the Nigerian team following the sacking of Gernot Rohr made some big calls in some areas as he included three new players in Olisa Ndah, Sadiq Umar and Kelechi Nwakali.
Their inclusion came at a cost as it saw the trio of Calvin Bassey, Kevin Akpoguma and Paul Onuachu dropped out of the final squad despite making the provisional list submitted by Rohr.
