Super Eagles camp bubbles as 12 players arrive Abuja – Sporting Life

A total of 12 players have now arrived the Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the crucial 2022 World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana.

Sportinglife.ng reported earlier today that six players have arrived camp. However, the last update by the Super Eagles Twitter handle, revealed other players have arrived the camp, raising the number to 12.

As at the time of this report, the following players in Super Eagles camp are Francis Uzoho, Shehu Abdullahi, Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City), William Troost-Ekong(Watford), Leon Balogun (Rangers), Semi Ajayi (West Brom), Ola Aina (Torino), Frank Onyeka (Brentford), Odion Ighalo (Al Hilal), Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs), Ahmed Musa (Karagumruk), and Oghenekaro Etebo (Watford).

Coach Augustine Eguavoen still awaits the arrival of 15 players as proper training is yet to commence.

Meanwhile, striker Sadiq Umar would be involved in Almeria’s game against Tenerife as they continue to charge for promotion from the Spanish second division. However, he is expected to leave Spain immediately after the game and land in Abuja on Tuesday.
