Tenerife of Spain ace Rinsola Babajide is in cloud nine following her maiden invitation to the Super Falcons camp ahead of Olympic Games second-round qualifers against Ethiopia.
The 25-year-old described her invitation by the Randy Waldrum tutored side as a show of love not only by the team but by Nigerians.
“The love I’ve been feeling has been very overwhelming, thank you so much. Grateful & blessed for this opportunity #Honoured,” she wrote on her X.

The Falcons will be guests to Ethiopia for the first leg billed for Wednesday, 25 October, 2023 while the second leg is billed for Tuesday October 31.

Meanwhile the duo of Ashley Plumptre and Onome Ebi who were part of the last world cup in Australia and New Zealand have been left out of the Olympic qualifier. Recall that Ebi who turned 40 recently captained Super Falcons to the last world cup in far away Australia. Plumptre on her part only recently joined Saudi Club Al-Ittihad from Leicester City
