‘The Eagle will get you anytime, anywhere’ – EFCC warns internet fraudsters

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has vowed to strengthen the fight against internet fraudsters and those going spiritual in the act of fraud.

The antigraft agency warned internet fraudsters who have deployed spiritual means for their nefarious activities to give up their trade or face the full wrath of the law.

Recently, there has been public outcry over the activities of internet fraudsters, called Yahoo boys, who engage in fetish practices to succeed in their criminality.

But the anti-graft agency in a Facebook post said ”internet fraudsters are now going spiritual, even doing money rituals and making it a new custom. We will come for those individuals, tell them it won’t be business as usual.

“No going back on the onslaught against yahoo-yahoo or yahoo-plus, whatever nomenclature. Give up, or give in. The Eagle will get you anytime, anywhere,” the agency warned.
