The internet has erupted with laughter after a video of popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake performing at an event was shared online.

The singer was spotted in the video wearing black pointy cover shoes while he danced and performed excitedly.

Asake who is also a songwriter and a signee under the YBNL Nation owned by his senior colleague Olamide and Empire Distribution.

Netizens who came across the video on Instagram, however shifted their focus from his performance to the shoe he was wearing.

Many of them wondered why the singer dressed so distinctly, while others tagged the shoe with several names in the comment section.
