Popular Nigerian singer, Portable, has taken a swipe at Nigerians who boast about owning Mercedes Benz and view them as a symbol of class and status.

The Zazu Zeh star, who’s currently in Germany, said the luxury car which many Nigerians take great pride in owning, as evidence of their wealthy status, is not treated with so much importance abroad.

According to him, the exotic cars that many in Nigeria treat with so much care and use to brag to their friends are being used as taxis in Germany.

He shared a video showing him in Dusseldorf, Germany and stated that the same Benz Nigerians brag about back home are used as taxies in the European country.

His words,
“Exotic cars as Taxis ! Car wey u cover with tamponlin . Ilu Osu! Düsseldorf Germany . IKA of AFRICA”.

In other news, Nigerian music executive, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has reacted to a video of his colleague, Portable, advising his followers about success.

The Zazuh star, who describes himself as “werey olorin i.e a mad singer”, had taken to his Instagram page to advise people to take charge of their life and not depend on other people for opportunities, and ultimately their success.

According to Portable, though he is not a good English speaker, he would still try to motivate and advise people on the right path to take.

Davido spotted the video on social media and was impressed by Portable’s display of wisdom. According to him, he laughed hysterically after watching the video, but admitted that Portable speaks fact even though he has a “wild” personality.
