Nigerian skit-maker, Trinity Guy, has come under heavy criticism for creating a skit about the marital troubles of Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, and his estranged wife, Sheila Courage.

It was earlier reported that Israel and Sheila had parted ways just a year after their lavish wedding in Benin City, Edo state, in October 2022.

Over the weekend, both parties shed light on the reasons behind their split. Israel accused his wife and family of being gold diggers, alleging they made him pay N1 million to marry her because she was a virgin. In contrast, Sheila cited emotional abuse, domestic violence, and a lack of vision as her reasons for leaving the marriage.

Amid the drama surrounding their marriage, controversial skit-maker Trinity Guy decided to create a comedy skit based on their marital crisis.

The comedian, who recently spent some weeks in jail over a controversial skit involving a minor, went as far as using the estranged couple’s real names in the skit.

In the video, he portrayed Israel, prioritizing his boss over his wife and even abandoning his wife during intimate moments to attend to his boss.

This clearly didn’t sit well with many social media users, who didn’t hesitate to criticize Trinity Guy for making a joke out of Israel’s plight.

They also urged him to delete the video and tender an apology to Israel and his wife for disrespecting them.
