A lady’s rather cold reaction to a surprise party that her friends threw for her on her birthday has sparked reactions online.
A video currently making the rounds online shows the moment the celebrant walked into a room of cheering friends but appeared to snub them.
As she walked into the decorated room filled with her friends, who screamed “surprise” as soon as she stepped in, the lady just maintained a straight face and walked off.
Her cold reaction to the surprise didn’t sit well with a number of social media users, who lambasted her for not appreciating her friends’ efforts to make her day.
Reacting a social media user @Sammis said,
“Now I would have grabbed my gift that I bought could have the day snacks that I picked him for her grab any other thing on the table that you know seems appetizing and fun and get out of there because I took time out of my day just to surprise you for you to act like that.”
@cynthiabrightney, “Nobody should come with ‘na only her know wetin she de go through’ common it’s her birthday and I’m sure no one died around her else the invitees would have known. A little smile never hurt anybody, this is so uncouth????????”.
