Three Victims Found Dǝad Following Alleged Cult-Related Attack In Rivers State

Tragedy struck in Egbeh community, located in the Ubie kingdom of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Rivers State, as suspected cultists carried out a gruesome attack, resulting in the abduction and killing of three individuals, one of whom was a woman.

Reports indicate that the cultists, allegedly connected with a leader known as General ‘Danger,’ launched the assault on Monday, December 4, 2023.

The victims were forcibly taken by the suspects, and their lifeless bodies were later discovered along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom.

According to sources within the community, the two male victims had previously engaged in a dispute with a woman identified as the mother of General ‘Danger.’ Allegedly, she made threats against them, vowing to carry out revenge.

General ‘Danger‘ is believed to be the head of the Iceland cult group operating in the region.

The abducted woman was reportedly the girlfriend of one of the male victims.

The mother of General ‘Danger’ has since fled the community.

Following the abduction, panic has engulfed the area as residents raised the alarm, prompting a search for the missing individuals.

Sadly, gunshots were heard in the vicinity of Egbeh and Ebiriba Road, and the bodies of the three victims were later discovered.

The Rivers State Police Command spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident and assured that investigations are in order.

As the investigation progresses, the community mourns the loss of the victims and hopes for swift justice to be served.
