Ever since she hit the spotlight, Tiwa Savage has showed no sign of stopping by making big waves; from sold out concerts to international record deals and topping the music charts with her hugely successful album “49-99”. Asides her musical prowess, another area the queen of Afro-Beats slays effortlessly is in her gorgeous melanin popping skin, so much that the top international magazine for Black women had to write an entire article about Tiwa’s skin!.
In her interview with Essence Magazine’s Jennifer Ford, Tiwa Savage reveals her secret to having a skin that “Shines like pearls”. She says: SPF is your best friend, i used to think that as a black person, i don’t need sunscreen or sun protection especially being African and living in a hot country. I was completely wrong……Using sunscreen keeps my skin plump and young and of course drinking lots of water”.
But beyond the physical beauty, Tiwa Savage also chips in that “Real beauty comes from within”.
