West Ham captain, Declan Rice is eager to seal a move to Arsenal this summer, over Chelsea, Manchester City or Manchester United, the UK Metro reports.

However, the Gunners will have to increase their opening offer after having an opening bid rejected by the Hammers.

Rice is being chased by top clubs in England after another impressive season, in which he helped the London club avoid relegation and also win the Europa Conference League.

For several months Arsenal have been optimistic of winning the race to sign Rice.

Mikel Arteta wants to bolster his midfield options with Granit Xhaka expected to leave.

But Chelsea and Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with the England star too, while recent reports suggest Manchester City are hoping to hijack Arsenal’s deal and bring Rice to the Etihad Stadium.
